Fannie Mae Provides Update on Credit Score and Credit Reports Initiative

Today, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the GSEs) announced they will begin the next phase of the joint GSE Credit Score and Credit Reports Initiative. This work will implement two new credit score models and require two, rather than three, credit reports.

The GSEs have published an industry playbook including timelines and FAQs. The proposed timelines include release of historical data to support the market in this transition. Visit our Credit Score Models and Reports webpage for additional details.
