Fannie Mae to Enhance its Credit Risk Transfer Disclosures

On October 25, 2022, Fannie Mae will enhance its Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) disclosures to provide increased transparency and align with Single-Family Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) disclosures. The HomeReady® Program Indicator field will be replaced with the Special Eligibility Program enumeration. The enumerations are listed below:

• F – HFA Preferred™
• H – HomeReady
• R – RefiNow™
• O – Other
• 7 – Not Applicable
• 9 – Not Available

The enhanced disclosure will be reflected in the monthly CRT remittance files published on October 25, 2022, and in the January 2023 Single-Family Loan Performance data update.
