Fannie Mae to Enhance Connecticut Avenue Securities File Layout

Effective beginning March 25, 2015, Fannie Mae will enhance its Connecticut Avenue Securities (CAS) file layout to disclose both a Borrower Credit Score where available and, where applicable and available, a Co-Borrower Credit Score for each reference obligation. This enhancement is designed to provide investors with additional insight into the credit-worthiness of the borrowers responsible for repayment of the mortgage obligation. 

The enhancement will apply to all files published for CAS on or after March 25, 2015. A file layout (PDF) and glossary (PDF) are provided to assist market participants in making this change.
