Fannie Mae to Enhance Connecticut Avenue Securities Disclosures

Fannie Mae will be making enhancements to its Connecticut Avenue Securities (CAS) disclosures when it releases its Payment Date Statements for all outstanding transactions on August 25, 2014. Additionally, these enhancements will apply to the upcoming transaction, CAS 2014-C03, as well as all future transactions.

The enhancements include an update to the “Loan Payment History” data field, to include 24 months of loan payment history, and the addition of a new data field, “Mortgage Insurance Cancellation Indicator.” These enhancements will not be applied retroactively to previously released CAS disclosures.

The updated file layout and glossary are available to help investors prepare for the upcoming data file changes.
