Fannie Mae to Enhance its Credit Risk Transfer Disclosures
Fannie Mae will enhance its credit risk transfer (CRT) disclosures to provide additional data to increase transparency and to further align with Single-Family Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) disclosures.
The enhanced disclosures will be included in the CRT file published on February 25, 2026, and the Single-Family (SF) Loan Performance Dataset update in April 2026 (for activity in December 2025). For loans with more than one borrower included in the CRT disclosures, we will transition to reporting the representative credit score at the loan level, which is defined as the lowest representative score among all borrowers on a loan. To support the transition, we will continue to provide loan-level individual borrower and co-borrower credit scores for three months. Beginning in May 2026, the individual borrower and co-borrower scores will not be populated (fields will be set to null).
