Weighted Average Original Loan Size To Be Added To New Issue Pool Statistics File

Effective for July 2018 issuances, Fannie Mae will include a new attribute, Weighted Average Original Loan Size (WAOLS), in the daily New Issue Pool Statistics (NIPS) File available on PoolTalk^® beginning with the file published on June 12, 2018. The attribute will be added to record type 1 in a new field #36.

We have provided a sample file and an updated NIPS file layout to assist with this transition.
