Fannie Mae Announces Update to Disclosure Files for MBS Data Corrections
Effective May 18, 2026, Fannie Mae, in conjunction with Freddie Mac, will begin publishing a new Single-Family MBS Loan Level Issuance Correction File on PoolTalk® and the SFTP site. This file will provide complete loan-level data for any pool that receives corrections during the offering period.

In addition to the changes described above, the publication of both the Loan Correction Indicator (LCI) and Security Data Correction Indicator (SCI) in the ongoing disclosure files will now default to a value of "N" (No). The existing LCI and SCI attributes will be updated on June 4, 2026, and in each monthly ongoing file thereafter. The data for the LCI and SCI will be set to "N" (No) for the "Current" view on PoolTalk. As a best practice, data consumers are encouraged to consume the full file regardless of the indicator values.
