Reminder: Single-Family MBS Disclosure Enhancements

As previously announced, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the Enterprises) are implementing several enhancements to their Single-Family mortgage-backed securities (MBS) disclosures. A summary is provided below:

Enhancement Effective Date Other Information
Expansion of the Green Program Criteria to include Water Certification Effective November 18 for December issuances. A new stratification will be implemented specific to eligible water certifications, which will be dynamic and disclosed only if applicable.
Social Indicator for Fannie Megas® and Supers® Effective November 18 for December issuances.

Monthly files will be updated December 5.		 Active securities will be updated with the monthly MBS Security Factor File.
Change to file labels for two data attributes Effective November 18 for the intraday issuance files.

Monthly files will be updated December 5.

  • Excess Servicing Fee Security Issuance File
  • MBS Monthly Security Factor File
  • Excess Servicing Fee Monthly Security Factor File
Timing changes to MBS Intraday Issuance Files Effective November 18 for the intraday issuance files.

  • MBS Intraday Issuance Loan Level File
  • MBS Intraday Security Issuance File
  • MBS Intraday Security Supplemental Issuance File
