Fannie Mae Announces PoolTalk Enhancements

In late 2014, Fannie Mae will release enhancements to its PoolTalk^® application including the ability to access loan-level data for certain individual pools without the need to download the issuance or monthly loan-level disclosure files. This data will be available for Single-Family MBS pools for which we publish loan-level data. Issuance loan-level data will be available for pools with issue dates on or after January 1, 2012, while monthly loan-level data will be available for pools with issue dates on or after January 1, 2013.

In conjunction with the release, Fannie Mae will require those who wish to download or retrieve the Issuance or Monthly files from PoolTalk to register and log into the application. Registration will require users to provide their names and valid email addresses and to agree explicitly to our Terms and Conditions. Users of PoolTalk wishing to view data on a pool-by-pool basis without downloading files will not be required to register for the application.

Disclosure File Royalties

In addition, beginning on October 1, 2014, Fannie Mae will require a fee to those who wish commercially to redistribute the Issuance and Monthly pool and loan data files found on PoolTalk. Registration on PoolTalk will be required to access the files. Redistribution Terms and Conditions as well as pricing information are accessible here.
