Adding Flex Modification Identifier in Loan Level Disclosure Files

Effective October 4, 2018, Fannie Mae will include “Flex” as an allowable value in the Modification Program field in the Loan Level Disclosure File available on PoolTalk®. This enhancement will allow users to identify loans modified under the Flex Modification program. Loans previously modified under the Flex Modification program were disclosed as “Stream Mod” and will now reflect the enumeration as “Flex” with this enhancement.

There will be no change to the file layout. We have provided a sample file, which includes the “Flex” value for your reference.
