Fannie Mae Announces Upcoming DUS Disclose Enhancements
Since the launch of DUS Disclose, Fannie Mae has committed to periodic enhancements to provide market participants with comprehensive disclosure data. Enhancements will be available beginning on October 1 and will support our Green MBS program, expand features of the advanced search functionality, and enhance the user experience and application functionality.
Green Performance Tab
Details on Green MBS will be consolidated into a new Green Performance tab (under the Financial and Performance Data section) on the user interface. In the Green Performance tab, you will find the Green Financing Type and Green Building Certification. Those fields will no longer be disclosed in the Loan and Property detail sections, respectively. In addition, the following fields will be disclosed in the Green Performance tab and will include issuance data:
- ENERGY STAR® Score
- Source Energy Use Intensity
- EPA Water Score
- Water Use Intensity
- Energy Score Date (currently disclosed as the ENERGY STAR ® Score Date)
The Green Performance tab will only be available for Green MBS.
Advanced Search Functionality
We will enhance the functionality of the Advanced Search to include the ability to search by the following criteria:
- Green designation
- Maturity Date ranges
- GeMS™ Deal designation
Additionally, we are updating the Advanced Search to have the default sorting by Issue Date (in descending order) and then by Transaction ID, in ascending order. We have also introduced a multi-select option for the following fields:
- Security Type
- ARM Subtype
- Interest Type
- Product Type
To assist market participants with the transition to these enhancements, we are providing test files for the impacted reports.
