Impact of Federal Government Shutdown

Fannie Mae recognizes that federal employees across the country may be affected by the federal government shutdown that occurred on February 14, 2026. Fannie Mae is not a government agency and remains open for business. We have provided temporary guidance on Single-Family selling and servicing policies that are effective immediately upon the government shutdown and will automatically expire when the federal government resumes full operations.
