Fannie Mae Publishes Spreadsheet of Legacy LIBOR-Indexed CUSIPs Transitioning to SOFR

May 8, 2023

Updated as of August 10, 2023

Today Fannie Mae published a downloadable spreadsheet listing the CUSIPs of Fannie Mae legacy LIBOR-indexed securities transitioning from LIBOR to replacement indices based on SOFR, specifically: Single-Family and Multifamily Adjustable-Rate Mortgages (ARMs), Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (CMOs), and Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) securities. The transition to these replacement indices will occur the day after June 30, 2023, the last date on which the Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) Benchmark Administration Limited will publish a representative rate for all remaining tenors of USD LIBOR.

Additionally, the week of May 15, Fannie Mae will begin posting the aforementioned list of CUSIPs onto the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) enhanced Legal Notice System (LENS), the DTCC’s LIBOR Replacement Index Communication Tool1. The data available through DTCC LENS is for informational purposes only. The spreadsheet linked above is the free and definitive source for the consolidated listing of impacted CUSIPs.

Note: On August 10, 2023, the downloadable spreadsheet was republished with correct 'New Index Descriptions' for approximately 33 Single-Family CMOs. For any questions, please contact us.

Note: On June 20, 2023, the downloadable spreadsheet was republished with updated Current Index Short Names for approximately 150 Single-Family CMOs. For any questions, please contact us.
