Fannie Mae Enhances Multifamily Disclosures with Additional Data Attributes
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide transparency to the market, in November, we will release enhancements to DUS Disclose® to expand and improve the available disclosure information on our multifamily securities.
Area Median Income Attributes
We are adding three additional area median income (AMI) data fields for Fannie Mae multifamily mortgage-backed securities (MBS). These fields will only be populated for MBS issued on or after November 1, 2021.
- % of Units At or Below 100% Area Median Income
- % of Units At or Below 120% Area Median Income
- % of Units Greater Than 120% Area Median Income
To assist market participants with these enhancements, updated file layouts are available here. The file layouts include:
- MBS Advanced Search
- Daily and Monthly New Issuance
- Daily and Monthly New Issuance Correction
The updated DUS Disclose glossary is forthcoming and will be communicated as soon as available.
Ongoing Supplemental File Timing Change
To improve timing for ARM data, starting in November, ARM data in the Ongoing Supplemental File will be available on Business Days 4 and 5, instead of Business Days 5 and 6.
