Fannie Mae, in Coordination with Freddie Mac and the Federal Housing Finance Agency, Releases the Final Features and Disclosures Specifications for the Single Security Initiative

Under the direction of our regulator, Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), and jointly developed with Freddie Mac, we are announcing the latest milestone on the Single Security, an initiative to develop a single mortgage-backed security to finance fixed-rate mortgage loans backed by one- to four-unit single-family products. This announcement provides updated information related to the features and disclosure specifications of the Single Security.
