Fannie Mae Releases Projected Environmental and Social Impacts for 2022 Green and Social Bonds
In advance of Earth Day this Saturday, April 22, Fannie Mae has released projected cumulative and one-year impacts of Multifamily green and social bonds and Single-Family green bonds issued in 2022, providing investors with continued transparency into the environmental and social impacts of our bonds. Alongside these highlights, a CUSIP-level file breaks down at-issuance projected environmental and social impacts for each security. This file is cumulative for green and social bonds issued 2012-2022.
From inception, projected cumulative impacts of the green and social bond program include an average utility cost savings of $235 per single-family home per year and an average utility cost savings of $187 per multifamily household per year.
