Reminder: Single-Family MBS Disclosure Enhancements

As a reminder, Fannie Mae is making the following enhancements to its Single-Family mortgage-backed securities (MBS) disclosures:

Single-Family Mission Index: The reformulated Mission Index (V1.1) will apply to all Fannie Mae MBS pools beginning with March 2024 issuances. Any March-issued pools delivered on or before February 29, 2024 will be re-scored using the reformulated Mission Index (V1.1) and the values will be reflected in the disclosures on March 5, 2024.  Mission Index scores for pools issued prior to March 2024 will continue to leverage the V1.0 methodology and will not be updated. Please refer to the methodology overview for details on the Mission Index.

Single-Family Green MBS: New pool-level attributes will be included in the MBS Intraday Security and Security Supplemental Issuance Files beginning with March 2024 issuances. The MBS Monthly Security and Security Supplemental Files published March 6, 2024, will include these new attributes for all active outstanding Green MBS. Please refer to the December announcement for details.
