Reminder: Green Indicator for Fannie Supers and Megas

As previously announced, effective today, February 24, 2025, Fannie Mae, in conjunction with Freddie Mac, began labeling Supers® and Megas® as Green if all the underlying security collateral is labeled Green. Accordingly, Fannie Mae has enhanced its Single-Family MBS disclosures, so the Green Indicator is disclosed as "Y" (Yes) and the applicable Green Program Criteria stratifications are displayed for newly issued Supers and Megas beginning with February issuances that meet this criteria.

For any outstanding Supers and Megas that meet the criteria, the Green Indicator and the Green Program Criteria stratifications will be updated with the monthly MBS Security Factor File and MBS Security Supplemental File on March 6, 2025.
