Fannie Mae Provides Revised Data for Single-Family Social Disclosures

On November 16, Fannie Mae launched new social disclosures, the Social Criteria Share (SCS) and the Social Density Score (SDS), for its Single-Family mortgage-backed securities (MBS), publishing these disclosures for active and inactive MBS issued from January 2010 through October 2022.

Today, we published a revised disclosure file on PoolTalk®, as well as an updated chartbook reflecting adjusted data that impacts a subset of the dataset. Specifically, the updated information impacts 3.9% of the loans backing the dataset, of which the majority are secured by investment properties. Please visit our webpage for the resources.

We appreciate the robust engagement from market participants and remain committed to begin publishing the SCS and SDS attributes for new Single-Family MBS issuances on December 2, 2022.
