Explore Refinance Activity with the New Refinance Transition Trends Dashboard

Today, Fannie Mae launched the Refinance Transition Trends dashboard in Data Dynamics®, providing greater transparency into borrower refinancing behavior.

The dashboard matches borrowers' original and new Fannie Mae-guaranteed loans secured by the same property, enabling users to:

• Compare the product type, loan term and loan purpose of the refinanced and newly originated loans.
• View the weighted average note rate and change in note rate from the refinanced to the newly originated loan.
• Filter by acquisition quarter, prior product and prior loan purpose to quickly visualize trends.

The dashboard contains data on refinance loans originated from 3Q19 to 3Q26 and will be updated on a quarterly basis on the second Monday following quarter end to reflect refinances from that quarter.
