Fannie Mae Announces Replacement Subtypes for Retired ARM Subtypes
As described in the MBS announcement on March 12, 2014, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System has discontinued certain indices related to rates paid on certificates of deposit, resulting in certain ARM subtype retirements. Fannie Mae has determined the new replacement ARM subtype classifications which will become available May 12, 2014. Below are the discontinued subtypes and their replacement classifications.
(Note: In addition to the retirement of subtypes announced on March 12, 2014, subtype 4D was also retired. The chart below includes this subtype and its new replacement subtype).
